Click Inventory management > Inquiries > Counting history.

Use this form to view a journal of the item counts that have been made.

When you block inventory, either manually or through a quality order, an issue transaction that has the type inventory blocking is created for the blocked quantity.

An inventory count is a snapshot of the current inventory levels. When you have taken inventory and specified the on-hand quantity, the difference between the quantity counted and the snapshot of the on-hand inventory is posted. The difference is posted as a loss or gain for the item.

The journal of inventory counts shows the on-hand quantity and on-hand catch weight quantity that were counted compared to the inventory levels. Each count is given a journal number and date. This lets you view data from earlier counts, such as which counting journal and voucher the count was posted to, and the date the count occurred.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

The information is specific to Process manufacturing production and logistics.
