Merge address book records (form) [AX 2012]

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click Home > Common > Global address book. Select the records that you want to merge, and then on the Action Pane, in the Maintain group, click Merge records.

Use this form to merge two or more party records.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.




Validate and merge the party records.



Select the party to retain

Select the party record that you want to keep. The information from the remaining record or records is merged into the selected record.


Enter a reason for merging the party records.
