    A piece of handheld equipment such as a portable music or video player, PDA (personal digital assistant), mobile phone, or Windows Mobile device that works on its own but can also connect to a computer. Many of these devices can sync information with Windows.

    An automatic inventory process in Configuration Manager that gathers detailed information about client hardware and software and provides regularly updated reports.
