Connect PerformancePoint scorecard items to reports in a dashboard

Applies to: SharePoint Server 2010 Enterprise

You can use PerformancePoint Dashboard Designer to create and deploy dashboards that contain various reports and scorecards for your organization. To make your dashboards more dynamic and interactive, you can connect some kinds of scorecard items, such as key performance indicators (KPI), to other reports. That way, when a dashboard user clicks an item in a scorecard that is linked to other reports, those reports update automatically to display additional, relevant information.

When you connect scorecards to other reports, you have many options available to you. For example, you can connect a scorecard item to an analytic chart or grid. When you do this, you can use the scorecard item as a filter for the analytic chart or grid.
