The Quality management configuration key controls access to quality management and quality control.

Note

This configuration key is enabled by a license code, and it cannot be enabled or disabled in the License configuration form. If the functionality affects Microsoft Dynamics AX performance, it can be enabled and disabled per company in the Inventory and warehouse management parameters form.

If this configuration key is enabled, you can perform the following tasks:

  • Create quality orders and quarantine orders for the inventory of an item.

  • Set up quality associations for automatic quality control.

  • Manage nonconformance and corrections.

  • Set inventory on hold for a period to block it from being included in transactions.

You cannot enable or disable this key in the License configuration form.
