Prerequisites for Package Conversion Manager in Configuration Manager

Before you begin to use Package Conversion Manager in System Center 2012 Configuration Manager, you must ensure that the following prerequisites are met:

You must have migrated Configuration Manager 2007 packages and programs into your System Center 2012 Configuration Manager site.

Migrating Hierarchies in System Center 2012 Configuration Manager

Package Conversion Manager must be installed on a computer running the Configuration Manager console that is connected to a primary site or central administration site.
