Installing Commerce Server 2009 R2
Before you install Commerce Server 2009 R2, ensure that:
You have installed all required software as described in Installing Prerequisite Software.
You have local administrator permissions on the operating system of the computer where you want to install Commerce Server 2009 R2 software.
The SQL Server is running.
Previous versions of Commerce Server are uninstalled.
All other applications are closed.
You can install Commerce Server 2009 R2 using a graphical user interface wizard or a command line interface. Both installation methods provide installation options that allow you to choose which Commerce Server 2009 R2 components to install.
The Installation Wizard provides a graphical user interface that guides you through each installation decision.
The Setup.exe command line syntax provides installation options that also support unattended (or silent) installations.
