Use this form to set up and modify table distributions.

NoteNote

This form is not available if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 is installed.

A table distribution is the hierarchy that is used to distribute data from the Microsoft Dynamics AX database to store locations. For each table that is included in the table distribution, you specify the type of distribution that occurs. You also define the parent/child relationships for the tables in the table distribution.

ImportantImportant

Setting up table distributions is a complex task. We recommend that this task be completed only by a person who is experienced in Microsoft SQL Server administration, and who also has detailed knowledge of the tables and fields in the Microsoft Dynamics AX database.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Check parent table setup

Verify that the hierarchy, and the relationships that are set up between the parent table and the child tables, are valid.
