Sales tax overrides (form) [AX 2012]

Updated: September 7, 2012

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack

Click Retail > Setup > Sales taxes > Sales tax overrides.

Use this form to set up overrides for sales tax. Cashiers can use overrides to modify the amount of tax on a sales transaction.

The sales tax group for a product includes a sales tax code that is named Food, but the customer is exempt from tax on food items. Therefore, the cashier overrides the default sales tax group by using a sales tax group that does not include the Food sales tax code.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.
