Button

Description

Recommendation

Open the Recommendation form, where you can view details about the compensation updates that were created by the current event.

Recalculate

Recalculates the recommended compensation for the selected employee. You can recalculate guidelines to reset all manual updates in the Recommendation form. Also, if you have changed a precondition, for example, the fixed increase budget for an organization after an event has been processed but before it had been loaded, you can recalculate the recommendation to include the update.

Change status

Update the status of the compensation event for the employee.

Load employee compensation

Update the employee records with the compensation updates.

Field

Description

Status

The status of the employee event:

  • Created – The default status.

  • Ignore – Select this status to ignore the event the next time you load employee compensation.

  • Approved – Select this status to approve the event. The employee event must be approved before you can update the employee records with the compensation updates.

  • Loaded – Indicates that the compensation updates are effective and that the employees’ records have been updated.

Worker

The employee that the event is created for. The compensation plans that employees are enrolled in determine what employee recommendation records are created.

Process

The process event that created the event.

Event

The event that generated the employee event.

Version

Indicates how many times the employee event has been recalculated.

Created date and time

The date and time when the event was created.

Created by

The user who created the event.

Most recent hire date

The most recent hire date of the selected employee.

Calculated hire percent

The percentage of the compensation cycle that applies to the calculation of a merit increase or variable award.

If the Hire rule option on either a fixed or variable compensation plan is set to Percent, the compensation calculation is based on the specific period of employment, instead of on the full compensation cycle.

Corrected hire percent

Adjust the hire percentage, as appropriate, for the current employee.

Error status

Indicates if an error or warning message is found.
