Loyalty customers (form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack

Click Retail > Common > Loyalty > Loyalty customers. On the Loyalty customer list page, select a loyalty customer in the list. Alternatively, on the Action Pane, in the New group, click Loyalty customer to create a new loyalty customer.

Use this form to define the customer details for all loyalty customers. You can also define different types of loyalty cards and the card numbers for those cards, and link the cards to customers.

Note

The information in this topic applies only to AX 2012 R2 and AX 2012 Feature Pack. In AX 2012 R3, you don’t need to set up customers that are specific to Retail loyalty programs. For information about setting up loyalty programs in AX 2012 R3, see About setting up loyalty programs in AX 2012 R3.

Open the Loyalty point transactions form, where you can view and analyze the transactions for the loyalty customer.

Loyalty schemes

Open the Loyalty schemes list page, where you can view the loyalty scheme that is assigned to loyalty cards that are assigned to the customer.

Update

Update the customer record with any unrecognized loyalty transactions.

Loyalty customer

The unique identifier of the loyalty customer. If number sequences are enabled, this identifier is automatically assigned by the system.

Customer account

Select the customer account for the loyalty customer.

Contact information

The telephone number and email address of the loyalty customer. This information is automatically populated by the system when you select the customer account.

Used points

The total points that have been used by the loyalty customer.

Issued points

The total points that have been issued to the loyalty customer.

Point status

The total points that have expired for the loyalty customer.

Loyalty card type

Select the type of loyalty card. The following options are available:

  • As card tender – The card is the primary card that can earn or redeem points for the primary card owner and other card members who have been added. The points that the customer uses for payment must be earned by this card.

  • As contact tender – The card is a secondary card that can earn or redeem points only for the card member. The points that the customer uses for payment can be earned by any card for the loyalty contract.

  • No tender – The card is a secondary card that can earn points but not redeem them.

  • Blocked – The card is blocked, and cannot earn or redeem points.

Scheme ID

The loyalty scheme that is assigned to the loyalty card.

Used points

The total points that have been used by a loyalty card that is assigned to a loyalty customer.

Issued points

The total points that have been issued to a loyalty card that is assigned to a loyalty customer.

Point status

The total points that are available after loyalty points have been used or have expired. This field displays the total points that are available for each loyalty card that is assigned to a loyalty customer.

Expired points

The total points that have expired for a loyalty card that is assigned to a loyalty customer.
