Click Home > Inquiries > Workflow > Workflow history.

Use this form to view the status of a document that was submitted to the workflow system for processing and approval.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in the upper pane of this form.

Description

Overview

View the status of documents, and see who submitted the documents.

Details

View the identification code of the selected document, and see whether the document has been escalated.

Button

Description

Resume

Resume the workflow process for the selected document.

Recall

Recall the selected document so that it is not processed.

Refresh

Update the data that is displayed in the form.

Field

Description

Status

The workflow status of the document.

Instance ID

The identification code of the workflow instance that is processing, or has processed the document.

Workflow ID

The identification code of the workflow that is processing, or has processed the document.

Workflow

The name of the workflow that is processing, or has processed the document.

Version

The version number of the workflow that is processing, or has processed the document.

Submitting user

The name of the user who submitted the document.

Date of submission

The date and time that the document was submitted.

Elapsed time

The time that has passed since the document was submitted.

Document type

The type of document that was submitted for processing.

Document

The identification code of the document.

Escalated

Indicates if the document has been escalated.

Last change

The date and time that the document was last modified.

View the work items that are associated with the selected document. For example, a task may have to be completed, or the document may have to be approved.

View the workflow history of the selected document.

Reassign

Open a dialog box where you can reassign a work item to another user.

Field

Description

Status

The workflow status of the document.

Workflow name

The name of the workflow that is processing, or has processed the document.

Elapsed time

The time that has passed since the document was submitted.

Assigned to:

  • User

  • Name

The Microsoft Dynamics AX user ID and name of the person who the document is currently assigned to.

Work items:

  • Name

  • Due date time

  • Status

The work items that are associated with the selected document. For each work item, the grid displays the name of the person who is assigned to the work item, the date that the work item must be completed, and the status of the work item.

Workflow activities

The activities that have been generated for the workflow.

Workflow element activities

The activities that have been generated for the workflow element that is selected in the Workflow activities field.
