Product section location (form)

This feature is available only if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack is installed.

Click Retail > Common > Products > Released products by category. On the Released product details list page, select a product. Then, on the Retail tab, on the Action Pane, in the Set up group, click Product section location.

Use this form to define the details of the physical storage location or display location for a product. These details include the store number, section number, and shelf number.

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

Description

Store number

Select the store where the product is located.

Section number

Select the number of the section where the product is located in the store.

Name

The name of the selected section.

Shelf number

Select the number of the shelf where the product is located in the section.

Name

The name of the selected shelf.

Shows sales statistics

Select this check box to display section-level sales statistics.
