View retail reports

Microsoft Dynamics AX includes numerous reports that you can use to gain valuable insight into your business. Additionally, the Retail module includes the following reports:

  • Retail store metrics – View key information about retail stores to compare performance by store, employee, and product.

  • Sales performance by sales category – View and compare sales performance by sales category during periods that you specify.

  • Sales performance by products – View and compare sales performance by product during periods that you specify.

  • Sales performance by retail product category – View and compare sales performance by retail product category during periods that you specify.

  • Gross margin return on inventory investment (GMROII) by products - View the gross margin return on inventory investment (GMROII) of product inventory by product.

    This option is available only if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 or AX 2012 R3 is installed.

  • Gross margin return on inventory investment (GMROII) by category - Measure inventory productivity by reviewing the gross margin return on inventory investments (GMROII) of product inventory by product category.

    This option is available only if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 or AX 2012 R3 is installed.

  • Performance by terminal - View the retail terminals that are performing the best within an operating unit.

    This option is available only if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 or AX 2012 R3 is installed.

  • Top 10 OU performers in current year - View the top ten performing stores, based on sales and gross margin.

    This option is available only if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 or AX 2012 R3 is installed.

  • Trend by operating unit - View and compare the sales trends for selected retail channels for a selected period of time.

    This option is available only if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 or AX 2012 R3 is installed.

  • Sales comparison year over year by operating unit - View and compare the sales trends for one or more retail channels in an operating unit.

    This option is available only if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 or AX 2012 R3 is installed.
