Adding Required Assemblies to Your ASP.NET Development Environment

Before you start developing commerce ASP.NET applications, you must add specific Commerce Server 2009 R2 assemblies, metadata definition files and various configuration files to your development environment. These resources are required for your custom ASP.NET commerce application to successfully integrate and connect with the Commerce Foundation. The required assemblies and filed are installed in the following location during Commerce Server 2009 R2 setup, when the option to install Developer Kits: Samples is selected:  C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Commerce Server 9.0\Extensibility Kits\Samples\WebApplications.zip\Commerce-2Tier.
