Commerce Data Exchange: Synch Service messages (form)

Click Retail > Inquiries > Commerce Data Exchange > Async Server (previous version) status messages.

Use this form to view status messages and error messages that are received by Commerce Data Exchange: Synch Service.

Note

This form is not available if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 is installed.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Display only error messages.

Related messages

Display only related status messages or error messages.

Start date/time

Display messages that have a time stamp that is later than this date and time.

End date/time

Display messages that have a time stamp that is earlier than this date and time.

Open the Synch Service incoming messages form or the Synch Service outgoing messages form, where you can view the following information, depending on the message type:

  • Package number

  • Server name

  • Connection string

  • Message GUID

  • Job name

  • Finished date/time

  • Server message

  • Error number

  • Try count

  • Short integer

  • Number of records

  • Hop count

  • Source service name

  • Destination service name

  • Received date/time

  • Received file

  • Processed file

  • Message ID

  • Package deleted

  • Destination service name

  • Canceled

  • Action

  • Data target

Cancel message

Cancel the data transfer for the selected message. Use this button when a message contains an error and is blocking other messages.

Open the Commerce Data Exchange: Synch Service message tree form.

Fields

Field

Description

Message GUID

The unique identifier of the Synch Service message.

Job name

The number of the Synch Service job that is associated with the message.

Service name

The Synch Service instance that processed the message.

Status

The status of the message. The following statuses are used:

  • Received – 0

  • Processed – 1

  • Error – 2

  • Waiting – 4

  • Nothing to send – 5

  • Pending forward – 7

  • Forwarded - 9

Server message

Information about the status of error messages, the number of records that were processed, receipt and forwarding of the message, and other details. A server or service instance provides this information every time that it processes a message.

Error number

The code for the error that was encountered.

Date/time

The time stamp of the message.

Canceled

The data transfer for the message was canceled.

Action

The type of action that must be performed on the destination table: Insert, Update, or Delete.

Data target

The name of the Application Object Server (AOS) profile or the database profile.
