Before you install an on-premises deployment of Microsoft Dynamics 365, there are several operating system, application, and software features that must be installed, configured, and running either on the computer where Microsoft Dynamics 365 Server is running or on another computer on your network. Some of these operating system and software components include Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, and .NET Framework.
