How to Perform a Custom Install with the System Center 2012 - Unified Installer

Use the following procedure to perform a custom installation of a System Center 2012 component.

To perform a custom installation of a Service Manager 2012 component

  1. Log on to the computer by using an account that has administrative credentials.

  2. In the Unified Installer installation media, right-click setup.exe, and then click Run as administrator to start the System Center 2012 wizard.

  3. On the System Center 2012 1.0 page, click Custom install on local server.

  4. On the Component Selection page, select the Service Manager 2012 component to install, and then click Next.

  5. On the Component Media Location page, click Browse, navigate to the folder where you stored the installation media—specifically, to the component's setup executable—select it, and then click Next.

  6. The setup wizard for the component that you selected starts. Proceed with the setup of the component.
