Change compensation (form)

Click Human resources > Common > Workers > Workers. On the Action Pane, click Compensation > Fixed plan > Change compensation.
You can use this form to modify a worker’s fixed compensation.
Navigating the form
The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.
Fields

Description |

Action |
Select an action that defines the reason for the compensation change. The information in this field is maintained in the following form: Fixed compensation actions (form). |
Position |
The position ID for the selected worker. |
Level |
The compensation grade, band, or step level that is associated with the plan. |
Plan |
The fixed compensation plan for the worker. |
Effective date |
Select the date when the compensation change is effective. |
Expiration date |
Select the date when compensation change is no longer effective. |
Pay rate |
Enter the worker’s base salary or pay. Be sure to enter the amount appropriate for the worker’s fixed pay frequency and currency. For example, if the worker’s fixed pay frequency is set to weekly, make sure that you do not enter their annual salary in this field. Note If you selected an action that is of the Merit type, this field is read-only. |
Increase amount |
Enter the amount of the fixed pay rate increase. Note This field is only available if you selected an action that is of the Merit type. |
Increase percent |
Enter the percent of the fixed pay rate increase. Note This field is only available if you selected an action that is of the Merit type. |
New pay rate |
The new base pay or salary for the worker based on the increase amount or percent that you entered. Note This field is only available if you selected an action that is of the Merit type. |
