Reference points (form)

Click Human resources > Setup > Compensation > Reference point setups. Click Reference points.
Use this form to create reference points for a reference point setup. Reference points make up the ranges in a compensation matrix, and each range can be associated with a pay rate. Use the Up and Down buttons to move a reference point in the grid.
You set up pay rates for the individual reference points when you create compensation plans, and the reference point names that you enter here are applied as range titles, such as Minimum, Midpoint, or Maximum in the compensation matrix.
On a fixed compensation plan, you can select a reference point as a control point, such as Midpoint, which indicates the ideal wage level for a job that is covered by the current plan.
