This overview describes the Windows Store, the online store for apps that are available for Windows® 8 and Windows Server 2012.
The Windows Store is designed for both consumer and enterprise users. Enterprise features of Windows Store are designed to address the needs of IT Pros, also known as IT administrators. Access to the Windows Store can be removed or restricted by IT Administrators, and enterprises can deploy their own line-of-business apps directly to computers without going through Windows Store.
