Password implementation in Windows Server 2012 and Windows 8

Password technology enhances credential management in Windows with the introduction of picture passwords, and improvements and expansion of credential management with Managed Service Accounts, one-time passwords, fine-grained passwords administered by Active Directory Domain Services, Microsoft account service (Windows Live ID), and the Credential Locker (formerly Windows Vault).
