Import Metaverse Schema from File

For this procedure, in Metaverse Designer, you can import a metaverse schema from file. This can be helpful when you need to recover or import a previously exported known-good metaverse schema. The metaverse schema defines metaverse object types and attributes. To complete this procedure, you must be logged on as a member of the FIMSyncAdmins security group.

To import metaverse schema from file

  1. On the Tools menu, click Metaverse Designer.

  2. On the Actions menu, click Import Metaverse Schema.

  3. Click the metaverse schema file that you want to import, and then click Open.

Note

Metaverse schemas are exported to file in XML format and they have an .xml file name extension.
