Remove-DhcpServerv6OptionValue

Deletes one or more DHCPv6 option values set at the reservation level, scope level, or server level, either for the standard IPv6 options or for a specified vendor class.

Description

The Remove-DhcpServerv6OptionValue cmdlet deletes one or more DHCPv6 option values set at the reservation level, scope level, or server level, either for the standard IPv6 options or for a specified vendor class.

If only the ReservedIP parameter is specified, then the option values set at the reservation level are deleted. If only the Prefix parameter is specified, then the option values set at the specified IPv6 scope are deleted. If neither the ScopeId nor ReservedIP parameter is specified, then the option values set at the server level are deleted. The ScopeId and ReservedIP parameters cannot both be specified.

This cmdlet deletes the DHCPv6 option value configured on the specified scope for the specified option ID.

EXAMPLE 2

PS C:\>Remove-DhcpServerv6OptionValue -ComputerName dhcpserver.contoso.com -Prefix 2001:4898:7020:1020:: -VendorClass MyVendorClass -OptionId 10

This cmdlet deletes the specified vendor class specific option from the specified prefix.

EXAMPLE 3

PS C:\>Remove-DhcpServerv6OptionValue -ComputerName dhcpserver.contoso.com -Prefix 2001:4898:7020:1020:: -OptionId 23

This cmdlet deletes the DHCPv6 option value configured on the specified scope for the specified option identifier.
