System Center 2012 Service Pack 1 (SP1) introduces capabilities that Service Provider Foundation provides. These capabilities enable service providers and large information technology (IT) organizations to programmatically integrate cloud resources that Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) manages into existing management portals and orchestration. Service Provider Foundation enables new scenarios and concepts that make it possible for organizations to offer infrastructure as a service (IaaS) on Windows Server 2012 and System Center 2012 SP1, while maintaining their investment in workflow orchestration and self-service portals.
