Upgrade a server used in DPM backup

Use these instructions to upgrade a System Center 2012 – Data Protection Manager (DPM) primary or secondary server.
Upgrade a DPM server protected by another DPM server
Upgrade the secondary server.
On the primary server, close Administrator Console and Management Shell.
On the primary server, start the Setup Wizard, complete the upgrade, and then restart the computer.
Upgrade protection agents on all protected servers.
Run a consistency check on all protected data sources.
Upgrade DPM server protecting another DPM server
Upgrade the secondary server.
On the secondary server, close Administrator Console and Management Shell.
On the secondary server, start the Setup Wizard, complete the upgrade, and then restart the computer.
Upgrade each primary server that is being protected, and then reinstall the protection agent of each.
Upgrade protection agents on all protected servers.
Run a consistency check on all protected data sources.
