(CHN) Chart of accounts (modified form)

Click General ledger > Setup > Chart of accounts > Chart of accounts.
Use this form to create, manage, and view charts of accounts for your organization. The chart of accounts includes the main accounts that are used, and the rules that govern the combinations of main accounts and dimension values. The main accounts contain financial data about legal entity activities. Before you can use the chart of accounts, you must add an account structure to the chart of accounts. To export the chart of accounts, dimension values, or exchange rates to the databases of subsidiaries or other legal entities that run on external databases, see Application integration.
You can also set up the chart of accounts in a hierarchical tree structure by creating multiple levels for the general ledger accounts. You must define the levels, length, and controls for the ledger accounts.

Open the China main account hierarchy form, where you can create new ledger account levels and define the account format length for the new ledger account levels. Note To open the China main account hierarchy form, you must select an existing chart of accounts or create a new chart of accounts, and then click Hierarchy setup. This form is available only when the Chart of accounts form is empty. |
