(CHN) Matrix account report (form) [AX 2012]

Click General ledger > Setup > Reports (China) > Matrix account report.

Use this form to set up an account matrix to generate the Matrix account report (China). An account matrix contains information about a parent account and its subaccounts, and identifies the account display format as Debit or Credit.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

General

Select a main account to create an account matrix for, and identify the account display format as Debit or Credit.

Sublevel account

Add sublevel account information for the main account that is selected on the General FastTab.

Field

Description

Account matrix

Enter a matrix account name for ledger reporting. For example, to view the transaction details for cash that is on hand, you can create a new matrix account named Cash.

Description

Enter a description for the account matrix. For example, you can enter the description Cash on hand.

Format

In the Format field, select one of the following options to indicate the display format of the main account and its subaccounts on the Matrix account report (China):

  • Debit - The debit transaction details for the selected parent account and its subaccounts are displayed on the report.

  • Credit - The credit transaction details for the selected parent account and its subaccounts are displayed on the report.

Main account

Select the main account to create an account matrix for.

Name

The name of the main account.
