(IND) Create invoice proposals (modified form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2

Click Service management > Common > Service orders > Service orders. Open a service order. On the Action Pane, on the Invoice tab, click Invoice proposals.

Use this form to create an invoice proposal for a service agreement. After you create and review an invoice proposal, you can create a customer invoice from the proposal.

When you create a service agreement, and the service period in the agreement exceeds three months, you can classify the agreement as a continuous service agreement. You can assign a service event group to a continuous service agreement. A service event group is a set of tasks or events that you agree to complete for the customer. You can specify a due date for each event in the service event group. In the invoice proposal, you can select a service event group that you want to include in the customer invoice. For more information about how to create service events and groups, see (IND) Service event group (form).
