(IND) Create extension (form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2

Click General ledger > Common > EXIM Authorization schemes. In the EXIM Authorization schemes list, select an authorization scheme, and then, on the Action Pane, in the Maintain group, click Edit. In the EXIM Authorization schemes form, on the Lines tab, select a line, and then click Extension.

Use this form to extend the authorization period of an export-import (EXIM) authorization scheme. If any imported items are unused, you can extend the authorization period for six months, in accordance with the authorization.

Specify tax information about the authorization extension.

Fields

Description

Extension letter number

Enter the number of the extension letter.

Issue date

Enter or select the date of the extension letter.

Import assessable value

Enter the extended cost, insurance, and freight (CIF) value for the authorization.

Extension

Select the time unit for the extension period. You can select Days, Months, or Years. The default value is Months.

Value

Enter the extension period, based on the selected time unit. The default value is 0.

Export assessable value

Enter the extended Free On Board (FOB) value for the authorization. The default value is 0.

Tax ledger posting group

Select the tax ledger posting group.

IEC number

Select the Importer Exporter Code (IEC) number of the company.

Transaction date

Select the invoice posting date. This field is updated with the session date. You can modify the default transaction date.

Tax component

Select the tax component that is relevant to the incentive scheme.

Ledger account

Select the ledger account to which the duty that is exempt is posted.

Amount

Modify the amount of duty that is exempt, in the default currency. The amount that you enter is posted to the receivable account that is selected for the incentive scheme.

Offset account

Select the offset ledger account to which the duty that is exempt is posted.

By default, this field is updated with the ledger account that is specified in the Benefit account field on the Advance Authorization or DFIA tab in the Incentive scheme parameters form.

Tax code

Select the tax code for which the tax amount that is exempt is updated.
