(IND) TCS or TDS transactions (form) [AX 2012]

Click General ledger > Inquiries > Tax > India posted tax > Withholding tax > TDS. Select a Tax Account Number (TAN), tax settlement period, and dates for the inquiry. Click Ok.

Click General ledger > Inquiries > Tax > India posted tax > Withholding tax > TCS. Select a Tax Account Number (TAN), tax settlement period, and dates for the inquiry. Click Ok.

Use this form to view all the Tax Collected at Source (TCS) or Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) transactions that are based on criteria specified in the TDS or TCS inquiry form.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Button

Description

Voucher

Open the Ledger voucher transactions form, where you can view the ledger transactions.

Totals

Open the Totals - TCS form or Totals - TDS form, where you can view the total amount.

Component total

Open the Component total - TCS form or Component total - TDS form to view the total TDS or TCS for the tax components.

Field

Description

Header note

The header note description defined in the Header note field in the TCS orTDS inquiry form.

Tax Account Number

The withholding tax registration number for the company's address.

Settlement period

The settlement period that is specified in the TDS or TCS inquiry form.

Withholding tax component group

The withholding tax component group to be queried.

From date

The starting date of the period selected in the TCS or TDS inquiry form.

To date

The ending date of the period selected in the TCS or TDS inquiry form.

Date

The posting date of the transaction.

Voucher

The voucher number of the transaction.

Withholding tax code

The tax code used to calculate TCS or TDS for the transaction.

Amount

The invoice amount.

Withholding tax amount

The calculated TCS or TDS amount.

Footer note

The footer note description defined in the Footer note field in the TCS or TDS inquiry form.
