(IND) SION items (form)

Click Inventory management > Setup > EXIM > SION. In the SION form, on the Lines FastTab, click SION Items.

Use this form to select items for the Standard Input Output Norms (SION). These input items are used in creating the finished products, or output items, in the SION.

When you select a bill of materials (BOM) in the SION form, the items in the BOM are automatically added as SION items. You can add or remove items in the SION items list.

When the quantity of an item that you import for an Advance Authorization (AA) incentive scheme is calculated from the BOM items in the SION, the AA items are considered related items. For information about how to add related items to the SION items list, see (IND) Related items (form).

Update

Recalculate the quantity for all items that are assigned to the input norms.

Related items

Open the Related items form, where you can select items to combine with the input item when the input quantity is calculated for a SION.

Note

This button is available only if you select Pct. of input in the Basis field.

Standard quantity

Open the Standard quantity form, where you can select an input quantity for an item. This quantity is added to the related items to calculate the total quantity of input items for the SION.

Note

This button is available only if you select Standard quantity in the Basis field.

Delete

Delete a product from the SION.

Note

You can delete a product only if there are no related items assigned to the product.

Fields

Field

Description

Item number

The SION input product that is used in creating a finished product.

Unit

The unit of measure for the selected product. The unit is entered automatically from the BOM.

Quantity

The number of units of raw material that are used in the finished product. The quantity is entered automatically from the BOM.

Basis

Select the method for calculating the quantity of the item to include in the SION. Select one of the following options:

  • Net/Net+pct. – The quantity in the Allowed quantity field is calculated as a percentage of the quantity of the input item.

  • Pct. of FOB – The quantity is calculated as a percentage of the quantity of the finished product.

  • Pct. of input – The quantity is calculated as a percentage of the input item.

  • Standard quantity – The quantity is a specific quantity.

  • Value – The quantity is calculated as a percentage of the value of the finished goods.

Value

Specify a value for the selected basis. If you select Net/Net+pct. or Pct. of FOB in the Basis field, the percentage cannot exceed 100.

Apply restriction

Specify whether a restricted percentage is applied on the selected quantity.

Allowed quantity

The calculated quantity of the item that you can import duty-free for use in the finished product.

Restricted pct.

The percentage of restriction that must be applied on the input quantity.

Restricted allowed quantity

The quantity after applying the restricted percentage.
