Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2

Click General ledger > Inquiries > Tax > India posted tax > VAT > VAT deferment. Enter the required information and then click OK.

Click General ledger > Periodic > India > VAT deferment.

Use the VAT deferment balance form to view the VAT deferment balance details.

Buttons

Button

Show data

View the deferred amount details for the selected criteria.

Deferment lines

Open the VAT deferment transactions form to view the transaction details of VAT amounts posted to the deferred account.

Post

Post the transaction.

Voucher

Open the Voucher transactions form to view the ledger transactions.

Note

This button is available when the VAT deferment balance form is opened from the VAT deferment inquiry form.

Fields

Field

Description

Tax Identification Number (TIN)

Select or view the Tax Identification Number (TIN) for the company's address.

Tax settlement period

Select or view the tax settlement period for the transaction.

From

Select the starting date for the deferment transaction to be displayed.

Transaction date

Select the posting date for the voucher.

From

The first date of the settlement period.

To

The last date of the settlement period.

Opening balance

The opening balance of the VAT deferred amount for the period.

Deferred

The total deferred amount for the selected period.

Transferred

The VAT deferred amount transferred to the recoverable account for the selected period.

Closing balance

The closing balance of the VAT deferred amount for the period.

Header note

The header note description defined in the Header note field in the VAT deferment inquiry form.

Footer note

The footer note description defined in the Footer note field in the VAT deferment inquiry form.
