(IND) View fixed asset group balances and profiles for value models

You can use the Fixed asset balances form to view the balance details of transactions for a fixed asset group and depreciation book during a period.

You can use the Profile form to view the projected depreciation. The projected depreciation is based on the setup of the selected fixed asset group.

  1. Click Fixed assets > Common > Fixed assets > Fixed assets. On the Action Pane, click Books > Value models.

  2. Click Inquiry > Balances to open the Fixed asset balances form, where you can view balances for each transaction type of the selected fixed asset group and value model.

    Note

    The net book value is the balance of a fixed asset group, and it is calculated after adding the acquisitions and other debit adjustments and deducting the disposals and other credit adjustments.

  3. In the Value models form, click Inquiry > Profile to view the projected depreciation amount for the fixed asset group.

    Note

    Click Fixed assets > Common > Fixed assets > Fixed assets. On the Action Pane, click Books > Value models. Click Transactions to open the Fixed asset transactions form to view the fixed asset journal transactions. The Fixed asset group field displays the fixed asset group that is attached to the value model when you select the Asset group depreciation check box for the fixed asset group.
