(IND) Set up General ledger parameters for miscellaneous charges

Click General ledger > Setup > General ledger parameters.
In the left pane click Ledger, and then in the Ledger area , select the Financial statements check box to activate the additional features for financial statements for India.
Select the Charges check box to activate the additional features for miscellaneous charges.
Note
When you select the check boxes for the taxes listed under the Apply India taxes field group on the Sales tax tab in the General ledger parameters form, the following fields will not be available:
Item sales tax group field in the Misc. charges code form and the Sales tax group field in the Auto-misc.charges form.
