Use this form to view all service tax transactions for the criteria selected in the Service tax inquiry form.

Open the form

Click General ledger > Inquiries > Tax > India posted tax > Service tax > Service tax.
Enter a STC number, tax settlement period, and dates for the inquiry.
Click OK.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Button	Description
Voucher	Open the Ledger Voucher transactions form to view the ledger transactions for the selected voucher.
Totals	Open the Totals - Service tax form to view the total amounts.
Tax components	Open the Tax components - Service tax form to view the tax component amounts.
Misc. charges	Open the Misc. charges transactions form to inquire about the miscellaneous charges.

Field	Description
From Date	The starting date of the service tax period that is specified in the Service tax inquiry form.
To Date	The ending date of the service tax period that is specified in the Service tax inquiry form.
Header note	The header note description defined in the Header note field in the Service tax inquiry form.
Footer note	The footer note description defined in the Footer note field in the Service tax inquiry form.
STC number	The STC number for the company's address selected in the Service tax inquiry form.
Tax settlement period	The tax settlement period that is specified in the Service tax inquiry form.
Date	The transaction date.
Voucher	The voucher number of the transaction in the ledger.
Tax code	The tax code of the service tax transaction.
Amount origin	The base amount on which the tax code is calculated.
Tax amount	The posted tax amount.
