(IND) Vendor invoice (modified form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2

Click Accounts payable > Common > Vendor invoices > Pending vendor invoices. Select an invoice, and then, on the Action Pane, click Edit. Alternatively, you can double-click an invoice to open the Vendor invoice form.

Click Accounts payable > Periodic > Maintain vendor invoices.

Click Accounts payable > Common > Purchase orders > All purchase orders. Select a purchase order. On the Action Pane, click the Invoice tab. In the Generate group, click Invoice to create an invoice from the selected purchase order.

–or–

Click Accounts payable > Common > Vendors > All vendors. Select a vendor account. On the Action Pane, on the Invoice tab, in the New group, click Invoice to create an invoice.

Click Accounts payable > Journals > Invoices > Invoice approval journal. Click Lines. Click Functions > Purchase order, and then click OK.

Use this form to create or update vendor invoices. By default, the form opens in line view. Only limited information about the header is displayed, and you can enter detailed information about lines. To view or change information about the header, click Header view on the Action Pane.

Your organization might use workflow to manage the review process for vendor invoices. If workflow review is required, a yellow information bar is displayed at the top of this form. Workflow review can be required for the invoice header, the invoice line, or both. The workflow controls apply to the header or the line, depending on where the focus is before you click the control. If an invoice has been approved, the fields and some Action Pane buttons are unavailable.

Tax information

Enter tax information that is related to the vendor invoice.

Fields

Description

Max. retail price

The maximum retail price for the item.

TDS group

The default Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) group that is used to calculate TDS for the vendor.

TCS group

The default Tax Collected at Source (TCS) group that is used to calculate TCS for the vendor.

Location

The location or a description of the vendor’s address for the selected invoice.

Tax information

The tax information that is applied to the selected invoice based on the vendor address and location.

Tax Identification Number (TIN)

The tax Identification Number (TIN) that is assigned to the vendor.

VAT items type

The types of items that are subject to value-added tax (VAT), such as capital goods or input goods.

Non recoverable pct.

The percentage of the purchase amount that is not used to manufacture items that can be taxed.

Registration number

The registration number of the vendor.

Form type

The type of India sales tax form that must be used with the invoice.

Tax Account Number (TAN)

The tax account number (TAN) that is assigned to the vendor.

Excise type

The excise category type that is assigned to the vendor.

Excise tariff code

The excise tariff code that is assigned to the invoice transaction lines.

Direct settlement

The excise register that is updated with the excise amount without using the settlement process that is used for transactions.

DSA

A selected check box indicates that the daily stock account (DSA) is updated.

CENVAT credit availed

A selected check box indicates that the Central Value Added Taxes (CENVAT) credit is used for the calculated excise amount on the credit note.

Consignment

A selected check box indicates that this is a consignment transaction.

Service code

The service code for the service type items that are included in the invoice.

STC number

The service tax code (STC) that is assigned to the vendor based on the vendor’s address.

GTA service category

The Goods Transport Agency (GTA) to which the vendor belongs.

Recoverable/Expense on tax settlement

A selected check box indicates that the service tax is transferred to a recoverable or expense account only when the tax is settled.
