(IND) Withholding tax concessions (form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2

Click General ledger > Setup > Withholding tax > India > Withholding tax concessions.

Use this form to enter withholding tax concession certificate details for customers and vendors for the selected Tax Collected at Source (TCS) and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) tax codes.

(IND) Enter concession certificate information for withholding tax codes

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Certificate

Enter the details of the TCS or TDS concession certificates provided by customers or vendors.

Fields

Field

Description

Tax type

Select one of the following tax types for the withholding tax concession details:

  • TDS

  • TCS

Withholding tax code

Select the TDS or TCS tax code for the concession details.

Withholding tax name

The description of the selected TDS or TCS tax code.

From date

Select the starting valid date of the concession certificate.

To date

Select the ending valid date of the concession certificate.

Remarks

Enter remarks, if any, for the withholding tax concession code.

Section code

Enter the section that the concession certificate is availed for.

Customer account

Select the customer account to enter the TCS concession certificate details for.

Note

The Customer account field is available only if the selected tax type is TCS.

Vendor account

Select the vendor account to enter the TDS concession certificate details for.

Note

The Vendor account field is available only if the selected tax type is TDS.

Certificate

Enter the customer or vendor concession certificate number for the selected tax type.
