(RUS) Set up the counting list (INV-3)

The counting list (INV-3) document is one of the primary documents used for inventory accounting. Actual data of available inventory holdings in the warehouses and other storage areas is reflected in this report.

This topic has not been fully updated for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2.

  1. Click Inventory management > Setup > Inventory and warehouse management parameters.

  2. Click Number sequences.

  3. In the Number sequence code field, select the number sequence code for the Counting list reference.

  4. Press CTRL+S or close the form.

  5. Click Inventory management > Setup > Journals > Journal names, inventory.

  6. Press CTRL+N to create a new line, and enter the required details.

    Note

    For more information, see "Journal names, Inventory (form)" in the Applications and Business Processes Help.

  7. In the Journal type field, select Counting.

  8. Click the Reports tab, and then click << or < to move Counting list (INV-3) from the Available field to the Selected field.

    Note

    If the list of available reports is empty, click Update to update the list of available reports.

  9. Press CTRL+S or close the form.
