Screening types (form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2

Click Human resources > Setup > Workers > Screening types.

Use this form to set up one-time screenings, or screenings that occur regularly. An example of this is a one-time drug screening that must be completed by a worker before they can begin a new job, or a test that a worker must pass each year to maintain their position status.

Note

This form is available only if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 or AX 2012 R3 is installed.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Fields

Field

Description

Screening type

The name of a screening that might be necessary for a person to do a job.

Note

After the screening type is saved, this field cannot be changed.

Description

A brief description of the screening type.

Frequency

The rate at which the screening occurs or is repeated.

Every

The number that determines the recurrence. An example is every 30 days.

Note

This field is available only if a recurrence other than One-time only is selected in the Frequency field.

From the

The date that the next recurrence will be determined by:

  • Date completed –The next recurrence will be determined by the date when the screening was completed. For example, if the annual screening was completed on January 16,2013, but was not due until January 31, 2013, the next recurrence will be scheduled for January 16, 2014.

  • Date required – The next recurrence will be determined by the date when the screening is due. For example, if the annual screening was completed on January 16, 2013, but was not due until January 31, 2013, the next recurrence will be scheduled for January 31, 2014.

Note

This field is available only if a recurrence other than One-time only is selected in the Frequency field.
