Tax registration types (form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2

Click General ledger > Setup > Sales tax > External > Tax registration types.

Use this form to create and manage types of tax registration for vendors, customers, and legal entities in different countries/regions.

Task that uses this form

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Button	Description
New	Create a tax registration type.
Delete	Delete a tax registration type.
Add	Add a country/region to the selected tax registration type.
Remove	Remove a country/region from the selected tax registration type.

Field	Description
Country/region	Enter the unique identifier of the country/region.
Tax authority	Select the tax authority that is associated with the tax.
Restricted to	Select what kind of restriction applies to the tax registration type.
Format	Select the validation format for the tax registration type.
Can be updated	Select this check box if the tax registration number for the tax registration type can be updated after it is entered.
Unique	Select this check box if the registration number for the registration type is unique.
