Form W-2 box adjustments (form)
Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2
Click Payroll > Inquiries > Form W-2 box adjustments.
Use this form to enter amounts to be reported on Form W-2 that were not captured as part of pay statement earning lines, pay statement benefit lines, or pay statement tax lines. The contribution information is printed only on Form W-2. It cannot be included on the payment or pay statement.

This topic describes functionality that is available only if Payroll for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 is installed.

After you create a Form W-2 box adjustment, you cannot modify or delete the adjustment. You can create a new adjustment that would be added to or subtracted from the previously created adjustment amount. |

Worker Personnel number |
To view adjustments for a specific worker, press CTRL+G, click in the Worker filter field, type a first name followed by an asterisk, and press Enter. For example, enter diane*. For more information, see Advanced filtering and query options. |
Date |
The last date in the reporting period that the adjustment applies to. |
Form W-2 box number Form W-2 box label |
The label and box number on Form W-2 that the amount of the adjustment is entered in. Note Not selected and None are not valid values for the box number. The adjustment must be entered in box 10, 11, 12, or 14. |
Amount |
The amount of the adjustment. If more than one adjustment is entered for the same tax year with the same box number and label, the adjustments are added together on Form W-2. |
