(IND) RG23C tax details (form)

Use this form to view the tax details for the excise transactions that are posted to the RG23C Part II register for the criteria selected in the Excise register inquiry form.

Open the form

  1. Click General ledger > Inquiries > Tax > India posted tax > Excise > Excise register.

  2. Select RG23C Part - II in the Register field, and then enter the required details.

  3. Click OK to open theRG23C Part - II transactions form, and then click Inquiries.

  4. Select RG23C tax details to open the RG23C tax details form.

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

Fields

Field

Description

Date

The transaction date.

Opening balance

The starting balance of the tax amount in the RG23C Part II register on the specified date for the selected criteria.

Recoverable

The excise duty amount that is posted to the RG23C excise recoverable account on the specified date for the selected criteria.

Note

On the Overview tab, the Recoverable field displays the total amounts in the recoverable accounts for all the components.

On the Component tab, the Recoverable field displays the tax amounts for each component.

Payable

The excise duty amount that is posted to the RG23C excise payable account on the specified date, for the selected criteria.

Note

On the Overview tab, the Payable field displays the total amounts in the payable accounts for all the components.

On the Component tab, the Payable field displays the tax amounts for each component.

Balance available

The total balance amount in the RG23C Part II register on the specified date, for the selected criteria.

Balance available = (Opening balance + Recoverable - Payable)

Tax component

The excise tax components that are assigned to the transaction line.
