Depreciation = (Net book value of the fixed asset group) * (Rate of depreciation defined for the depreciation profile)

If any of the assets in the fixed asset group have been used for less than or equal to the days defined in this field, depreciation is calculated in two steps:

  1. Depreciation for the fixed asset group that does not include the cost of assets used less than or equal to the asset group depreciation threshold = (Net book value of the fixed asset group) * (Rate of depreciate defined on the depreciate profile)

  2. Depreciation for the asset that is used for less than or equal to the asset group depreciation threshold = (Net book value of the fixed asset group) * (Value entered in the Depreciation threshold percentage field) * (Rate of depreciation defined on the depreciation profile)
