(POL) Reason (modified form) [AX 2012]

Use this form to create and maintain financial reason codes. Reason codes help explain why some types of transactions were entered or why some field values were changed. For example, you can create reason codes to explain why a credit note was created for a customer.

Click Accounts receivable > Setup > Customers > Customer reasons.

Define the reason to create a credit note.



Reason code

Enter a unique name for the reason.

Default comment

Enter a description for the reason code. The comment that you enter is displayed as the default comment when this reason code is selected.


Select this check box to use the reason code for customer transactions.
