(RUS) Set up counties

County codes are often used in delivery addresses, invoices, and money transfers. Counties are unique for every area.

This topic has not been fully updated for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2.

  1. Click Organization administration > Setup > Addresses > Address setup. Click the County link, and then click New.

  2. In the Code field, enter the alphanumeric county code.

  3. In the Abbreviation code field, select the address abbreviation code. The address abbreviation code to be printed in documents is displayed in the Description field.

  4. In the ZIP/postal Code field, select the ZIP/postal code.

  5. In the STI code field, enter the tax inspectorate code.

  6. Click External Codes to open the External codes form, and then create or update external codes.

  7. Click Transport to open the Transport form, and then set up days required for transport in relation to the mode of transport and the shipping and receiving destinations.

  8. Press CTRL+S or close the form.
