Click Retail > Setup > Category hierarchies > Retail product hierarchy.

Before you can access the Retail product hierarchy form by using this path, you must set up a retail product hierarchy by using the Category hierarchy form. Click Product information management > Setup > Categories > Category hierarchies.

Use this form to define a category hierarchy for your organization. This category hierarchy can be used for multiple purposes, such as product merchandising and reporting.

Description

Product type

Select whether the product is an item or a service.

Service code

Select the fiscal classification code that is applied to the service.

NoteNote

This field is available only for products that are selected as a Service product type.

Fiscal classification code

Select a fiscal classification code for the product.

NoteNote

This field is available only for products that are selected as an Item product type.

Taxation origin

Select the taxation origin of the product.

ICMS on service

Select this check box if Imposto Sobre Circulação de Mercadorias e Serviços (ICMS) tax is applied to the service.

This field is available only for products that are selected as a Service product type.

Exception code

Select a fiscal classification exception code.

This field is available only for products that are selected as an Item product type.
