Applicable resources (operations resources)(form) [AX 2012]

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click Production control > Common > Routes > All routes. Select a route, and then click Edit. In the Route form, in the lower pane, click Applicable resources.

Click Production control > Periodic > Manufacturing execution > Edit job list. Select a production unit or resource group, and then click either Open production unit or Open resource group. In the Edit job list form, on the Action Pane, click Change assigned resource.

Use this form to view the available resources or resource groups that can satisfy the requirements of the jobs on the production route.

NoteNote

If you open this form from the Edit job list form, you can change the resource that is assigned to a production job. Some fields are not available.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Filter

Description

Date

Display only resources or resource groups that are available on a selected date.

Site

Display only resources or resource groups that are located at a selected site.

Resource group

Display only resources that are in a selected resource group.

Use requirements for

Select whether the resource or resource group must satisfy requirements of the job or the operation on the production route.

Button

Description

Use for costing

Use the selected resource or resource group when you determine costing.

View resource

Open the Resources or Resource groups form, where you can view details about the resource or resource group.

Field

Description

Resource

The unique identifier for the resource or resource group.

Description

The description of the resource or resource group.

Type

The type of resource. For more information, see Resources (operations resources)(form).

Resource group

The identifier of the resource group that the resource is assigned to. For more information, see Resource groups (operations resources)(form).

Site

The site where the resource or resource group is located.

Production unit

The production unit that the resource or resource group is assigned to.
