(EEUR) Set up asset depreciation books

Use the Depreciation books form to set up depreciation books, which are used to calculate depreciation for a group of assets.

  1. Click Fixed assets > Setup > Depreciation > Depreciation books.

  2. Create a depreciation book, and then in the Depreciation book and Description fields, enter a name and a description for the depreciation book.

  3. In the Round off depreciation field, enter a round off depreciation value.

  4. In the Rounding method field, select a rounding method that is used to round the depreciation amount from the following options:

    • Normal – Round the amount to the nearest unit that is specified in the Round off depreciation field.

    • Downward – Round the amount down to the nearest unit that is specified in the Round off depreciation field.

    • Rounding-up – Round the amount up to the nearest unit that is specified in the Round off depreciation field.

  5. In the Calendar field, select a fiscal calendar.
