(EEUR) Project management and accounting parameters (modified form)

Click Project management and accounting > Setup > Project management and accounting parameters.

Use this form to set up parameters for projects that you create and maintain in Microsoft Dynamics AX. We recommend that you review and set all the parameters before you begin working with Project management and accounting.

You can use the Project management and accounting parameters form for the following types of tasks:

  • Select various options to define project functionality for your organization.

  • Select default values that are used for projects if information is not otherwise specified.

  • Select number sequences that are used in Project management and accounting.

Negative transactions - corrections

Select this check box to specify that project transactions that have negative values in project journals create transactions as corrections in General ledger.

Important

This check box appears in the form only when the Correction check box on the Accounting rules FastTab in the General ledger parameters form is selected.

Adjustment of project transactions - correction

Select this check box to specify that, by default, processes for project adjustment create adjustment transactions as corrections. You can change this value in individual forms that are used to create and post project adjustments.
